LAS VEGAS – The short notice UFC 303 main event rematch between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka is official after both men made weight on Friday.
After taking the headlining spot on just 17 days’ notice after Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler was canceled, light heavyweight titleholder Pereira (10-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and former champion Prochazka (30-4-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) fulfilled obligations on the scale at UFC 303 official weigh-ins.
Pereira and Prochazka both registered 204.5 pounds.

Prochazka will attempt to exact revenge on Pereira after he suffered a second-round TKO loss in their first meeting at UFC 295 in November. Prochazka has stated he felt the stoppage came early in the fight, and now gets his chance to prove it in the sequel.
UFC 303 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
