LAS VEGAS – The flyweight title will be on the line in Saturday’s UFC 290 co-main event after Brandon Moreno and Alexandre Pantoja made weight for their rematch.
Reigning champion Moreno (21-6-2 MMA, 9-2-2 UFC) will attempt to make a first defense of his second title reign when he takes on Pantoja (25-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC), who holds two victories over the Mexican – one in a professional bout and the other in an exhibition contest.
They will meet again this weekend, but first, on Friday, both men had to handle business on the scale. Pantoja was the second fighter to the scale in the two-hour official window and was 125 pounds. Moreno weighed in about a minute later and was 125, as well.
Once Moreno weighed in, all four main event and co-main event title fighters were official in the first three or so minutes of the weigh-ins, leaving no drama.

UFC 290 takes place at T-Mobile Arena. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.
