VANCOUVER – Former UFC champ Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush had their first UFC 289 faceoff at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference.

Oliveira (33-9 MMA, 21-9 UFC) and Dariush (22-4-1 MMA, 16-4-1 UFC) are set to meet in a high-stakes lightweight bout with potential title implications in Saturday’s pay-per-view co-main event at Rogers Arena. Prelims air on ESPN and ESPN+.
