MIAMI – For the first time in his long and storied UFC career, Jorge Masvidal finally sizes up an opponent at home.
The former UFC title challenger got face to face with fellow contender Gilbert Burns in their first faceoff ahead of their welterweight clash this Saturday in the co-main event of UFC 287. As expected, Masvidal (35-16 MMA, 12-9 UFC), who’s Miami born, had the crowd in his favor ahead of a pivotal career moment against Burns (21-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC).
UFC 287 takes place at Kaseya Center. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+.
