SINGAPORE – The UFC 275 women’s flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Taila Santos is official for Saturday’s co-main event.
Shevchenko (22-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) will put her title on the line for the seventh time when she meets Santos (19-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The main card that airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
Before the fight could proceed, both women had to step on the scale. There were no issues as champion Shevchenko registered at 124.5 pounds, while the challenger was 125.
Immediately afterward, Shevchenko and Santos engaged in a final faceoff.

Shevchenko, No. 2 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie women’s pound-for-pound rankings, is a perfect 8-0 since dropping down to 125 pounds in September 2018.
Brazil’s Santos, No. 7-ranked at women’s flyweight, will look to pull off the upset, and brings 19 victories out of 20 career fights into her first title opportunity.
