After a very eventful Thursday, the UFC hopes the 20 fighters that remain on Saturday’s UFC 223 fight card will avoid any drama when they step on the scale.

UFC 223, which lost three fights on Thursday as a result of Conor McGregor and his cronies attacking a fighter bus following the event’s media day, is now a 10-fight card. UFC 223 takes place on Saturday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The top two fights were not affected by McGregor’s actions.
In the main event, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway meets Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title. That title, at least on paper, remains with McGregor. The expectation is that he will be officially stripped of that belt at some point before the conclusion of the Holloway vs. Nurmagomedov fight.
The co-headliner sees strawweight champion Rose Namajunas putting her title on the line against the woman she bested to become the champion, Joanna Jędrzejczyk.
Before the fighters step into the octagon, they will hit the scales. The ceremonial weigh-ins take place on Friday. The first fighter is set to hit the scale at 6 p.m. ET.
