UEFA have asked Scotland fans to ignore their published fixture schedule released for the nation's Euro 2024 qualification campaign - an hour after its release.
The Scottish FA published just after 7:30pm on Sunday night the dates and times for when the Tartan Army can expect to see their team play their qualifiers. But just after 8:45pm, they announced that UEFA had been in touch to say a mistake had been identified and that it wasn't a schedule to be looked at.
That was little sympathy for the loyal Tartan Army, some of whom had already booked travel abroad for these matches. Group A provided a tough draw for Steve Clarke's side, who have landed Spain, Norway, Georgia and Cyprus. A statement from UEFA released by those at Hampden says: “We regret to inform you that we have noticed an issue with the calendar and we ask you to DISREGARD the fixture list that was sent out. A new version will be issued as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.”

One fan lamented 'already booked flights, this better get sorted' and another added 'Norway booked and you get this? Is UEFA going to refund us?'
They weren't the only ones to book up in a hasty manner, another Scotland supporter saying 'You better be joking. This could be a very expensive mistake for some of us' and another simply added 'This is totally unacceptable.'
A message from the SFA read: "Following the above communication we have received from UEFA we are awaiting clarification as to how this affects our fixtures. We will update when UEFA provide us with more information."
