Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, is currently the Sports Minister of the state and is likely be appointed as next Deputy CM of Tamil Nadu.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, is currently the Sports and Youth Welfare Minister of the state and his possible step up is expected in the next 24 hours.

US Visit
MK Stalin inclined at stepping up Udhayanidhi Stalin to the Deputy Chief Minister's post before embarking on a visit to the US earlier this month.
In August this year, Tamil Nadu Minister Rajakannappan also spoke at about Udhayanidhi Stalin, after he referred to him as the state's Deputy Chief Minister.
However, Rajakannappan immediately said, that he could refer to Udhayanidhi as Deputy Chief Minister only after August 19.
Significance of Education
Speaking at an event, Rajakannappan, Tamil Nadu’s Minister of Backward Classes Welfare, said, "The Chief Minister has said that education and medicine are like the two eyes. He admires education so much.
The benefit is that there is a department called skill development, which comes under our Deputy Chief Minister--sorry, our minister Udhayanidhi. Sorry, we can't call him that before August 19".
Who is Udhayanidhi Stalin?
Udhayanidhi Stalin was born on 27 November, 1977 is an Indian film producer, politician and actor who prominently worked in Tamil cinema.
He was appointed Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Special act implementation Department of Tamil Nadu in the ministry by his father the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin in December 2022.
He is a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, representing the Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni Assembly constituency. (with Agency inputs)
