The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) opposition has formed four subcommittees to evaluate the performance of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government on its first anniversary.
UDF convener M.M. Hassan said here on Wednesday that the Opposition would investigate the LDF’s performance in key sectors. The UDF would focus primarily on finance, planning, education, health, and agriculture.
C.P. John of the Communist Marxist Party (CMP) will chair the subcommittee on planning and finance. Former Minister K.C. Joseph, MLA, would head the subcommittee on education. Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader M.K. Muneer, MLA, will chair the committee on health and Mons Joseph, MLA, the subcommittee on agriculture.
