Many of those who regularly use Ubers will end up getting a nasty surprise when they check their ratings, only to find out that they are decidedly short of a perfect five-stars.
And if you've ever wondered exactly why that is, you'll now be able to see all your driver ratings in more detail - which could prove awkward for some users.
That's because Uber have launched a new Privacy Centre in their app and online, showing exactly how many five-star and one-stars you've been given.
You can access the Privacy Centre yourself by logging into your account online or via the app. Once in, you'll need to swipe right and click a tile that reads “would you like to see a summary of how you use Uber”.

After scrolling down a bit to the “browse your data” section, you should then press “View my ratings”.
It's here where you can finally find out the stone-cold truth about what your Uber drivers really think about you, with a full breakdown of Uber drivers who've rated you highly, and those who've been left less than impressed.
Now, Uber drivers currently can't give detailed written comments as to why they've given you that woeful one-star rating, however, there are some things you can do to make sure you don't inadvertently leave your driver seething.
As per a recent blog post on Uber's website: "Both riders and drivers have the ability to rate one to five stars on a trip. Your rating is the average of your last 500 trips. If you want to help improve your rating, drivers have shared some of the top reasons they hand out fewer stars".
The post advises Uber customers to "always make sure to take your trash and any other belongings with you", emphasising that it really isn't the job of the driver to clean up any mess you might leave behind.
Secondly, passengers are urged to always make sure to wear a seatbelt, to better protect themselves and their driver from serious injury in the event of a crash.
The third tip addresses the all too common issue of Uber drivers having to wait around for customers who are on the minutes, with the blog advising that a "smooth pickup is better for everyone so be ready to go when the driver arrives".
In a fourth tip, passengers are asked to "always treat your driver and their vehicle as you would want to be treated", ensuring that drivers "feel safe, respectful, and positive" throughout your trip.
The fifth and final hint should be obvious but may well have slipped the minds of those in a hurry: don't slam the door.
According to Uber, "drivers have consistently cited door slams as a reason why they deduct stars", meaning you should take the same care leaving the vehicle as when you're travelling inside it.
