Uber drivers in Bristol are planning a protest on Wednesday, March 30, over what they claim are low fares, safety and unfair dismissals. The App Drivers and Couriers Union sent out an email to members of the union advising of the action outside the Uber office in Bristol.
The issues they are discussing relate to the low fares, the safety of drivers and "unfair dismissals" within the company. The protest is expected to take place at 11am in Bristol at the Uber office on Upper York Street in Stokes Croft.
It is unknown how many drivers will be protesting during this period and whether there will be disruption to the availability of drivers throughout this period.

The email sent out by the App Drivers and Couriers Union said: "We are planning and discussing some action including a protest on Wednesday outside Uber Office in Bristol.
"The issues are regarding the low fares, safety and the unfair dismissals."
It is not the only time that Uber drivers in Bristol have called for better conditions. A 24-hour long strike was staged in Bristol back in September 2021, over low pay, unfair dismissals and Uber’s failure to implement the Supreme Court ruling.
Uber has been approached for comment.
