The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles fired by the terrorist Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen against the country.
The ministry confirmed there were no casualties resulting from the attack, as the fragments of the ballistic missiles fell in different areas around the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, reported the state news agency (WAM).
In its statement, the ministry stressed its "full readiness to deal with any threats," adding that it will "take all necessary measures to protect the UAE from any attacks."
