UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has discussed with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba, a number of regional and international issues and the latest developments in Ukraine, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Friday.
During a phone call, Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the UAE's wiliness to support all efforts made to find a peaceful solution to the dispute in Ukraine and to reach a political settlement to the crisis, WAM said.
Sheikh Abdullah also stressed the UAE's firm commitment to providing the necessary humanitarian support and assistance to civilians affected by the crisis in Ukraine.
He pointed to the need to strengthen efforts aimed at reaching a ceasefire and intensify negotiations and dialogue between all parties concerned to find a political solution to the crisis, WAM added.
