Tyson Fury wife Paris' pregnancy 'revealed' hours before Dillian Whyte fight

Carl Froch has seemingly revealed that Tyson Fury and his wife are expecting their seventh child later this year with Paris Fury pregnant. The former boxer appeared to break the news in an interview with the BBC this morning, speaking ahead of the Gyspy King's fight vs Dillian Whyte tonight.

Fury is set to defend his WBC and The Ring belts against Whyte in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium - a record attendance for a European boxing fight in the 21st century. Whyte is the mandatory WBC challenger after establishing himself as the number one contender.

He beat Alexander Povetkin in a March 2021 rematch in Gibraltar after being beaten by the Russian fighter in August 2020 at the Matchroom Fight Camp organised by Eddie Hearn. Neither Fury nor his wife Paris have publicly confirmed they are expecting another child.

It comes after the pair welcomed their sixth child, Athena, in August last year - two months before Fury knocked out Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight.

But Froch said on BBC Breakfast this morning: "He's (Fury has) got five or six children? I don't want to get it wrong, but he's got a lot of kids. I think Paris his wife is pregnant."

Froch added: "Why not sail off into the sunset, he's getting on for 35 years old. He must have made around £100milllion in his career, he's absolutely massive. He's the heavyweight king and to get himself in the shape he needs to fight at 35, it's hard work.

"He's talking about retirement and I kind of believe him. my last fight was here at Wembley, I could have boxed on and made more money. Sometimes the strategy for leaving boxing has to be right.

"A bad day at the office in boxing is potentially damaging for your health. You have to take that into perspective when you've got children. [Retiring] must be in his head, he must be thinking 'I've done my time, I'm the heavyweight king and if I retire on the back of a 94,000 crowd at Wembley Stadium, who could blame him'".

Tyson and Paris married in 2008 having been together throughout their teenage years, before welcoming their kid Venezuela the following year. Fury has previously admitted Paris wants 10 children in total, whilst he wants to better that number by one and have 11.

Fury has maintained that the Whyte title defence will be his last fight of his career tonight but fans, and even his own father John, remain unsure whether he will stick to those words - with a potential Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk fight coming down the line.
