Tyson Fury has warned his dad John not to fight members of Jake Paul's team during his son Tommy's grudge fight.
Rising star Tommy will take to the ring tonight in the biggest test of his career when he takes on YouTube star Paul in Saudi Arabia. Almost two years of trash talking between the pair is almost over, and Fury has travelled to the Middle East for the contest backed by his dad John and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson.
Today is the day the men will meet in the squared circle and it is expected both teams will be focused on business tonight, but WBC champion Tyson has made time for a pre-fight joke. The 'Gypsy King' gave his brother's team a pep talk in the style of Tommy Shelby in the hit BBC series Peaky Blinders.
"Right it's Tommy's fight day, there is no fighting," he shouted during a video posted on his social media. "No fighting Hughie, no fighting James and no fighting Shane. And most of all no fighting John." Fury Sr quickly shouted back: "If someone gets in my face I am knocking them out. I don't care I mean what I say."
The WBC champion then continued the rallying speech, adding: "I don't care; it is Tommy's fights day let's keep it on our best behaviour. Let's show them over here how good we can be." John was seemingly joking with his role in the video, but it would not be the first time he became involved with his son's rivalry with Paul.
Fury's father jumped in the ring during his son's fight in Dubai in November to confront Paul who was commentating on the event. He took his top off and demanded the pair meet in the ring, while wildly shouting which further helped heighten the tensions of the rivalry.

Despite having had some choice words for the influencer, Fury Sr has revealed that he actually is fond of his son's rival. "When we [the Fury family] see other people like that we turn into fight mode," Fury Sr explained. "I've been fighting all my life on the streets, out of the streets and when anybody talks loud to me or tries to be clever I go into fight mode, that's what we do. But afterwards, the best man will win.
"I'm one million pre cent confident it will be Tommy, but I'm sure they can be friends after. They're just young lads doing their job and Jake Paul is very good at that job! I'm having a game with him like he's having a game with me, always remember that. I'm an old, experienced guy in this field. I like the kid, I like him and his brother Logan, I like all of them YouTubers, they bring good stuff and at the end of the day I'm excited talking to them."
