Tyson Fury wants brother Tommy Fury to reject professional fights after Jake Paul bout

Tyson Fury has encouraged his brother Tommy to pursue big money fights with the likes of KSI and Logan Paul after he faces Jake Paul later this month.

The world heavyweight champion will be in Saudi Arabia to support his brother in his first pay-per-view headliner on February 26, and reckons he will land a late knockout. But he differs with Tommy on what his next move should be after the Paul fight, encouraging him to pursue celebrity boxing, not the traditional route.

Tommy has amassed an 8-0 record as a professional and is just 23-years-old, but lost out on a number of fights over the last few years due to injuries and visa issues. He plans to fight for world titles during his career, although Tyson reckons his best bet is to pursue further money fights.

"When he beats Jake Paul I'd like to see him fight the brother Logan," Tyson told IFL TV when asked what Tommy should do after his grudge fight. "If not Logan there may be a British celebrity boxing match like KSI, maybe. I was going to say another guy, but they're all a bit smaller."

Tommy, on the other hand, believes that he will be following in the footsteps of his brother and his cousin Hughie in fighting at the world level. Speaking with BT Sport at the same media day, he said: "At the end of the day, all of these lucrative fights that are out there, I'll clear up.

"But my soul goal since starting boxing has always been the same it's to be a world champion. And I do believe I've got what it takes to be there and get to that level. I do believe everyone writes me off because of Love Island, there's a lot of jealousy and a lot of stuff going on.

"I'm going to beat him and put and end to him once and for all. Then guess what? I'm going to get back on my route, win some titles and go down in history. Then, I'll bob my hat and I'll leave the sport. That's my goal."
