Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora odds revealed with WBC Champion heavily backed

Tyson Fury has been backed heavily to beat Derek Chisora, with the undefeated WBC champion expected to earn a stoppage against Del Boy, it has been revealed this morning.

The fight has been confirmed to be taking place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3rd. It will see the undefeated Fury (32-1-0) taking on Chisora (33-0-12) and is a fight that few expected to see, with Fury having entered advanced talks to face Anthony Joshua.

Now they will face each other for the third time, with a trilogy fight coming eight years after they last met in 2014. They faced each other for the first time in 2011 and have a long-running rivalry which will surely be seen for the last time on December 3rd, with Fury likely to face a higher ranked opponent next year.

Considering Chisora's standing of 14th in the WBC rankings, the odds for the fight reflect this, with Betfair revealing that Fury is 1/33 favourite to beat Chisora, with the Londoner only having been given an 11/1 chance. Fury has been given a 3/10 chance of earning a KO/TKO victory, with a points win rated at 11/4.

Meanwhile, a Chisora KO/TKO has been given a 14/1 chance, meanwhile, a points decision for Del Boy has been given a 30/1 chance. The draw has been given a 33/1 chance of happening while the fight is not backed to go the distance, with 1/4 odds of a stoppage compared to 5/2 to go to the judges' scorecards.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said : “With their trilogy fight being confirmed on Thursday, Tyson Fury is the 1/33 odds-on favourite to successfully defend his WBC heavyweight world title against Derek Chisora. Fury knocking out Chisora, who he has beaten twice before, is the most likely method of victory at 3/10. Meanwhile, Del Boy is 11/1 to cause a massive upset at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3.”
