Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua tickets release date: Everything we know so far

Tickets for Anthony Joshua's show-stopping fight with Tyson Fury will be in high demand when they go on sale as the biggest names head to the Principality Stadium on 3 December.

The fight has been confirmed but ticket details are not yet live. However, there are some clues that can be taken from Anthony Joshua's previous fight in Cardiff against New Zealander Joseph Parker.

That fight took place on March 31 and tickets went on sale over two months before the event on January 22. Tickets were priced from £40 up to £300, £600 and £2,000 for the best seats in the house. Prices for Tyson Fury are expected to be higher given the size of the fight, meaning fans will probably be spending more than £40 for even the cheapest seats.

If the tickets are on sale two months before the Joshua vs Fury fight we can expect them to be available early October at the latest, although it could be earlier than that.

Tickets are likely to be on sale on the likes of SeeTickets and Ticketmaster, which sold tickets for previous fights at the Principality Stadium.

We will update this article as more is released on ticket prices and availability for the fight.

A statement from Joshua's management company, 258MGT, said: "258 and @MatchroomBoxing can confirm, on behalf of @anthonyjoshua, that we accepted all terms presented to us by Fury’s team for a fight Dec 3rd last Friday.

Fury's promoter Frank Warren has now confirmed the contract to officially rubberstamp the fight is on its way to Joshua's team soon. Fury had publicly offered Joshua three dates to meet before the end of the year and he has suggested the challenger gets 40 per cent of the purse.

Fury said: "I really want this fight to happen because Usyk the middleweight doesn't want no smoke like I thought he didn't and now I'm going after AJ. I've already beaten Wilder and there's only one other person and that's AJ the bodybuilder.

"Why not give him 40 per cent, no excuses, let's get the fight made for the British public. the Battle of Britain, who's going to win it, me or him? He only had a sparring contest [against Usyk] didn't he? He's match fit, coming off a training camp. I've seen they're trying to wriggle a bit with the dates."

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn believes the fight can only take place in the UK in Cardiff at that time of year, because of the Principality Stadium's closed roof. Joshua had wanted to meet later in December but has now accepted the December 3 date.
