Tyson Fury told to expect shock defeat to Dillian Whyte in £30m world title fight

Tyson Fury has been told why his undefeated streak will end when he faces Dillian Whyte on April 23. The two are finally set to meet in the ring at Wembley Stadium, with Fury defending his WBC championship.

The fight had been hanging in the balance in the last 24 hours with Whyte leaving it late to sign his contract. But in the early hours of Tuesday morning it was confirmed the documents were signed and sent to the WBC ahead of the deadline.

Whyte secured his WBC mandatory title shot after knocking out Alexander Povetkin last March, while Fury retained the belt with an 11th-round knockout of Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight in October.

Since his last fight in the USA over three years ago, Fury's stature has grown exponentially. Having defeated Wilder twice, many have put him in the conversation of being the greatest heavyweight of all-time.

However, Whyte's trainer is predicting a win for the Body Snatcher - a result which would shock the world. Xavier Miller told talkSPORT (via Boxing Scene) that whilst he respects Fury's skill, he sees his fighter coming out on top.

Miller said: "I just think that Dillian is going to be a little bit too much for him. I think that Klitschko was right at the end of his career. Even though it was a fantastic win, it’s not a fight anyone is going to go on YouTube and watch again. It was awful, let’s be honest. It wasn’t a good fight, but Tyson has actually become a fan-friendly fighter now.

"The Wilder fights were a couple of decent fights, so he has been in a couple of decent fights and I will watch them back.

"I think that is why this is the best time to have this kind of fight. Dillian likes to be in exciting fights, Tyson seems to be going that way now.

"I respect him, he’s skilled. He’s been boxing a hell of a long time so he knows exactly what he is doing.

"I think he found the right dance partner in Deontay Wilder, but Wilder is not Dillian."

Whyte's antics in delaying signing the contract have come under the spotlight but Fury has rebuffed the 'mind games' from his opponent, vowing to 'bust' him when the pair enter the ring.

"Oh my God, Dillian Whyte signed his contract for eight million dollars. What a surprise!" He sarcastically stated in an Instagram story.

"An absolute idiot, should this even be a talking point? The man has signed for the biggest payday he's ever going to get in his life.

"Oh my God, my head hurts from all the mind games that Dillian Whyte has been playing on me, oh my God, I'm so sore, I don't know whether I'm coming or going, my training camp is a mess.

"I'm going to absolutely bust Dillian Whyte like a cheap f****** water balloon. And when I finish with him, Joe Parker is going to to set about on him, because you're useless, you big dosser, you useless sausage!"
