Tyson Fury set to receive mega-money offer to finally fight Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury will be sent a "premium offer" by Saudi Arabian promotion Skills Challenge in a bid to finally secure his fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

Heavyweight champions Fury and Usyk have been linked to a fight at the end of the year in a historic event which could also feature Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder. Their undisputed title fight was supposed to happen at the end of April, the two parties failed to agree on a rematch clause despite Usyk accepting a 70/30 purse split in Fury's favour.

Fury's promoter Frank Warren has insisted they are yet to receive a contract from the Middle East for the undisputed fight and Skills Challenge's Amer Abdallah has responded by insisting an offer is coming their way. "The premium offer will be coming soon, it will be based on the market value and demand of the fight. Tyson is frustrated, he wants to fight. If he can land something in September or October and then clear himself for December, we would love to make that offer," he told talkSPORT.

Fury was linked to fights against Andy Ruiz and Zhilei Zhang for late summer, but talks of both fights fizzled out. 'The Gypsy King' also sent a proposal to domestic rival Anthony Joshua for a possible September meeting, but Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has labelled the offer as "desperate".

Abdallah has insisted there will be no room for negotiation when they make an offer to Fury's team. Negotiations with Usyk will likely be easy for the Skills Challenge as the Ukrainian signed a deal with the promotion earlier this month. Aballah added of their offer to Fury: "It will be a premium price, we would never insult anybody with the offer.

"Prince Khaled when he makes an offer, they are big offers and he has no problem doing that. He is backed by the Ministry of Sport and everybody within the region. The offer will be there but it's not going be a negotiation, it will be 'Here's a great premium price'. We would love to make the fight happen."

"It's very easy sometimes in boxing for us to pound our chest and say 'Take it or leave it' but I would never want to insult somebody by saying 'Listen, here's the offer, take it or leave it'. Even if the offer was phenomenal, that's not how you do business. We know going into this that the offer is very fair offer. We would love to work with Tyson and bring him to the Kingdom."
