Tyson Fury's trainer reveals secret plan for Dillian Whyte fight

The fight between Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury takes place this month at Wembley Stadium, with the April 23 fight to decide the heavyweight championship of the World. Both fighters are deep into their training camps this week and with just three weeks to go, fans will be speculating on how the fight will pan out.

Tyson Fury is the undefeated WBC champion with Whyte as the mandatory challenger after a rematch win against Alexander Povetkin. In the previous match against the Russian fighter, the Londoner was knocked out and Tyson Fury's trainer Sugarhill Steward is aiming for his man to do the same.

Speaking to BT Sport, Steward revealed that Fury is hoping for a knockout against Whyte: "It's knockouts always. It's knockout time. Every fight, I'm preparing Tyson to knock somebody out," he said.

Steward also kept his cards close to his chest when drawn out on the topic of Fury's retirement, which he claimed was the plan during a press conference last month. A potential unification bout against either Anthony Joshua or Olesandr Usyk could be next for the winner of the April 23rd fight.

"Listen, those two men have the opportunity to fight when both of those guys are like 45 years old," Steward told BT Sport. "Who knows? Do you stick around and just keep waiting for that? Or do you live your life in peace knowing that you've done everything that you could do to be successful and know that you put every effort forth?"

"You can't worry about everybody else and situations you have no control over. And that situation, he doesn't have control over - there's too many other moving components to even think so deep about that."

A fight appeared to be set between Fury and Joshua last year before it was ruled that Fury must have a rematch against Deontay Wilder. Meanwhile, Joshua lost his heavyweight belts to Usyk in their fight last September to further complicate the proposed heavyweight clash.

"If it was just between him and Anthony Joshua, now you've got a better chance, it's 50/50. But now you have it broken down into so may different elements you kid of lose a real control of the situation and it's best to not even think about it so much or just worry about it and just live your life." Steward added.

"And I guess that's what Tyson has chosen to do by saying that he will retire after this fight right here."
