Tyson Fury's phone messages to brother Tommy ahead of Jake Paul fight

Tyson Fury has been telling brother Tommy Jake Paul will be unable to compete with him in their grudge fight.

Rising star Tommy will finally meet YouTube star Paul to settle their bitter rivalry in Saudi Arabia on Sunday as he looks to assert his status as the natural boxer in their feud. The ex-Love Island star will be roared on by his father John and WBC heavyweight champion brother Tyson in the Middle East who are expected to be in his corner.

Throughout the build-up to the high-profile showdown, Fury has been pushed on by his brother Tyson who has joked he will be left in Saudi Arabia if he is unable to have his hand raised this Sunday night. However the 23-year-old has revealed he has been receiving regular encouragement from his brother despite many suggesting it could be an added factor of pressure.

“Every time I get on the phone [to Tyson], he says the same thing: ‘There is not a world where this man can live with you," Fury told GQ when asked about the role of his brother in a bitter rivalry with Paul. "'Let everyone think it's a 50/50 and get in there and show him what's good.’ And that's just what it boils down to. The guy is not on my level. And I'll prove this in three weeks.”

Fury has won his first eight fights as a professional fighter and will be expected to prevail over Paul given his natural upbringing in the sport. Influencer Paul is confident he can make a statement by derailing the early stages of Fury's career having beaten the likes of former UFC fighters Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley.

It has been a turbulent ride for Fury who has failed to secure the fight on two previous occasions, having first broken his rib before being banned from travelling to the US for their scheduled contest last August. A win for either fighter will see them ranked by the WBC for the first time, which could set up a slow-burning route to a title shot at cruiserweight.

And the natural fighter believes he would be able to beat Paul even without having taken part in any preparation. "There is no chance or no way that he can beat me in a fight," Fury told BT Sport Boxing. "Not through Monday to Sunday, there is no way in the world because even if I didn't train for this my heart alone would get me through this. Not a problem, he is useless. And he is even stiffer than me and I have a load of muscle on me.

"He can't move out of the way of a shot, his boxing fundamentals are awful because every fight is the same. When you are watching genuinely people who fight in the gym compared to him, he is a white-collar fighter. I am not an MMA fighter, he does not know how to fight. I am not 40-years-old and I am not 50-years-old."
