Tyson Fury has accepted Jake Paul's $1million bet ahead of the upcoming fight between Fury's younger brother Tommy Fury and Paul.
Social media sensation turned boxer Paul was meant to step into the ring to take on Tommy at the end of last year but the younger Fury pulled out, delaying their much anticipated bout. Having finally negotiated a new date for the fight, August 6, the back and forth between the two camps ramped up once again.
The recently retired Fury has said that he would place $100,000 on his brother to beat Paul. But looking to up the anti, Paul took to social media and demanded that Fury bet at least 10 times that amount before saying that he would beat 'anyone' at 'any time, any place.'

“Tyson Fury, who made $40 million last year, is willing to bet $100,000 on his brother. Oh my god. We’re shaking,” Paul said on Twitter. “Hey, Tyson, you f--- p---y, you made $40 million. I know it wasn’t as much as me, but let’s up the ante. Let’s bet a $1 million on it, Tyson. $2 million. $3 million. However much you want to f------ bet. Let’s do it. Are you down? Make a deal."
“I can tell when someone's not confident because these pussy motherf------ on Twitter…they’re scared. I can tell when they’re scared. But me, I’m a cold motherf-----. I’ll bet anyone. Any time, any place. So f--- your $100K. Let’s make this a better bet and make it worth a couple million. Are you down?”
In response, Fury accepted the bet but made it clear that he didn't want to deal in crypto currency.
“Hey Jakey boy, I hear you want to bet a bigger bet than $100,000,” Fury said in a video posted on his social media accounts. “If you want a bigger bet, you want a million dollars, let’s do it. Holler at your boy. You want a million? You got it.
“Hey Jakey. I want to see this million dollars in escrow, sucker. Because I don't think you've got a million dollars.
“I'm not talking about crypto, I'm talking about real US green bags motherf------.”
Tommy Fury shot to fame after appearing on reality television series Love Island. Since making the switch to boxing, the undefeated Brit is currently 8-0. Paul, himself undefeated, is 5-0.
