Tyson Fury hopes Francis Ngannou KOs "piece of s***" Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury has labelled former rival Deontay Wilder a "piece of s***" - and hopes Francis Ngannou knocks him out if they fight.

Fury had an epic three-fight encounter with Wilder which he ended decisively in their October 2021 trilogy fight by brutally knocking out 'The Bronze Bomber' for the second time. The heavyweight rivals first fought to a controversial draw in December 2018, with Fury claiming Wilder's WBC title just over a year later by stopping him in their rematch.

Fury and Wilder have been backed to fight for the fourth time but 'The Gypsy King' would like to see ex-UFC champion Ngannou knockout his old rival instead. "[Ngannou] is big enough to knock anybody out. But I don’t think he does because I think Wilder knocks him out first. Wilder’s the type of guy who’s like a piece of s*** kinda guy, so I’d like to see Ngannou chin him, knock him spark out. But I don’t think he would," Fury told Fight Hub TV.

Ngannou vacated his heavyweight title and parted ways with the UFC in January after failing to agree to a new contract. 'The Predator' has been backed to cash in for a huge payday with potential fights against the likes of Wilder and Fury, getting in the ring for a joint interview with the latter after his knockout win against Dillian Whyte last April.

Wilder recently offered a two-fight deal to Ngannou that would see the pair fight in boxing before rematching in MMA. 'The Bronze Bomber' insisted the bizarre idea is a real possibility as he told reporters: "We try to do a two-fight deal, one maybe here [Saudi Arabia] and the other one in Africa. I may be fighting between May and June, and then December."

'The Gypsy King' insisted he didn't do enough damage to Wilder in their trilogy fight despite the American pondering retirement after the defeat. "I just don’t think I gave him a good enough beating in that third fight. That was a beating for the ages, I gave him some rattling punches. But he obviously didn’t take enough punishment. So don’t rule out a fourth fight," he added.

Fury's dad John has talked down the idea of his son fighting Wilder for the fourth time as he fears the heavyweight champion could " kill " Wilder if they fight again. "I'm worried about him fighting Wilder because I'm afraid of him killing Wilder. Wilder's got a cracked skull, his skull is cracked like an egg. That kind of thing can't be repaired so if Tyson hits him again he could kill him," Fury Sr told Mirror Fighting .
