Tyson Fury has confirmed his fighting weight for his upcoming heavyweight blockbuster with Dillian Whyte. The Gypsy King is finally set to face Whyte for the WBC heavyweight championship after the fight was mandated, having encountered significant delays, with purse bids being pushed back on four occasions.
An agreement was finally reached and the countdown to the fight is on - which will be Fury 's first in the UK since 2019 - after the first press conference was held on Tuesday afternoon. Dillian Whyte did not show up to the event, with Fury's promoter Frank Warren berating Whyte's lack of professionalism in the build-up to the fight at Wembley Stadium on April 23.
But Fury said he was unfazed by Whyte's no show - adding that he does not care about his opponents antics, as he stated that this would be the 'Tyson Fury roadshow'.

Speaking at the press conference, Fury was asked what weight he plans to come in at for the Whyte fight. Fury’s career-heaviest weight came in his first return to the boxing ring following a 31-month layoff in June 2018, when he weighed-in at 276 pounds for his victory over Sefer Seferi.
Fury said: "I am going to try and come in and my heaviest weight of all-time. For the biggest fight in my biggest crowd, you are going to see the biggest Tyson Fury - I am going to try and come in like a man mountain.
"What was my biggest weight, can anyone tell me? 19 stone 10? I am going to to come in heavier than 19 stone 10 - I am going to be the heaviest world champion ever."
Fury's promoter Frank Warren confirmed that tickets will start at £55 with a huge crowd expected at Wembley on April 23rd. Fury promised a knockout as Warren slammed Whyte as 'unprofessional' for not turning up at the press conference, instead choosing to remain in Portugal ahead of the fight.
