Tyson Fury calls out Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou for two fights on same night

Tyson Fury has downplayed the skills of Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou by challenging them to fight him on the same night.

Fury's struggle to book a fight in recent months has led to him calling out Jones and Ngannou, both of whom have expressed an interest in the crossover match-up. 'The Gypsy King' has downplayed any chance of him getting in the cage but he doesn't see any way in which the current and former UFC heavyweight champion can trouble him in the ring.

“I hear that Jon Jones is looking for a fight. Me. I’m your man," Fury said in a recent Instagram story before going on to add: “Here’s a thought. How about this... How about I fight Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou on the same night? How about that? That’s how much I value them two bums. Get up! Let’s go, boys.”

Fury is more likely to fight Ngannou than Jones as UFC boss Dana White has ruled out any chance of the heavyweight champion crossing over to boxing. White is still open to making the fight between Fury and Jones, but has insisted that it must take place in the UFC. Jones has never competed in boxing but has pleaded with White to pardon him from his UFC contractual duties so he can step in the ring to face Fury.

“I would love it if Dana could make that fight happen,” Jones said during an event at Flanker Kitchen and Sports Bar. “That’s one thing about the UFC, we always give the fans what they want to see. Tyson Fury is just such a magnificent opponent and it would be awesome to make that fight happen. I’m up for it and I’d even be willing to box him. Let’s see what happens.”

Ngannou left the UFC in January and has since signed for rival MMA promotion PFL, but 'The Predator' is still able to compete in boxing as of the terms of his new contract. Ngannou got in the ring with Fury to tease a future fight after 'The Gypsy King' knocked out Dillian Whyte last April, fast forward a year and the Cameroonian is still pushing for the crossover bout.

"My next step has to be boxing," he told ESPN. I want to do one boxing match first, and then maybe go back to MMA because I still enjoy MMA. I want to do a couple of fights in boxing." Ngannou has also expressed an interest in fighting Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, with 'The Bronze Bomber' recently proposing a two-fight deal that would see them fight in MMA and boxing.
