Frank Warren believes Tyson Fury would defeat both Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk if he makes a U-turn on his planned retirement.
The 'Gypsy King' confirmed his plan to hang up his gloves after stopping Dillian Whyte in the sixth round of their world title clash last month. Fury insists he won't return even for an undisputed clash with the winner of Joshua's rematch with Usyk which is due to take place in Saudi Arabia on July 23.
But his promoter Warren wants to see Fury face long-term rival Joshua to settle their long-running rivalry. "I've got to be honest with you, I mean obviously I'm biased but I think he's the best heavyweight in the world by far," Warren told SecondsOut when assessing Fury's future.
"I'd like to see him fight Joshua just to prove egotistically why I feel he's the better fighter and I also feel you know if he fights Usyk, again he will show that. You know, they're very similar in their styles but he's much bigger and he's much stronger... I think Tyson would be too big and too strong for him."
Fury declared his plan to retire prior to his title defence against Whyte and doubled down on his claim after the fight - but fans are yet to be convinced by his statement. The WBC champion has said he is open to facing UFC star Francis Ngannou in a 'hybrid-rules' exhibition bout.
And several prominent figures in Fury's camp, including his father John, have suggested he could return to the ring if Joshua prevails against Usyk. Fury was set to face Joshua for all four belts last year but missed out after being forced to accept a trilogy with Deontay Wilder.

Joshua, meanwhile, believes Fury would be willing to delay his retirement plan if he is offered the correct opportunity later this year. "If Fury would honour the boxers agreement and come out of retirement because ultimately what is at my core it is about the money," Joshua said during a Q&A with the Oxford Union. "If Fury will come out and honour the gentleman's agreement there is a lot of money to be made.
"The money could help a lot of people as well. Firstly I have a tough pound-for-pound fighter on my list in Usyk who is a tough competitor for sure. I feel retirement doesn't mean you have completely given up and you are on the beach clicking your toes and drinking a bottle of Corona. I feel he is still ticking over and I think he will come back if the right fight is presented to him."
