Crisps and snack manufacturer Tyrrells is re-launching an old classic in a fitting tribute to Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee. Perfect for street parties and picnics, Tyrrells Coronation Chicken crisps (150g, RRP £2.30) is making a jubilant return and will be available exclusively in Waitrose stores for a limited time only.
Coronation chicken was devised to celebrate the start of the Queen's reign and has become a British food icon, so it’s only right that this tasty nibble makes a comeback to accompany other classic party foods. Combining mouth-watering chicken with a subtle kick of curry, the hand-cooked crisps are an ideal salute to Her Majesty.
Tessa Holden, brand manager at Tyrrells, said: “We’re so excited about the limited-edition re-launch of Tyrrells Coronation Chicken flavour for Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee. It’s a quintessentially British flavour that marries our quintessentially British brand values for such a momentous event, and we hope our lovely customers enjoy Tyrrells Coronation Chicken during their Jubilee celebrations.”
Tyrrells was established in 2002 in Herefordshire and has been making hand-cooked crisps in a range of special flavours. Its crisps are hand-cooked and spun for freshness, with a signature curl and crunch, plus specially crafted seasoning using the finest ingredients.
