Things were going pretty well for Tyrrell Hatton at The Open 2023.
But then, he got to No. 18 at Royal Liverpool in the second round. And the wheels came off.
Ultimately, at the Par 5 hole, he shot a 9 for a quadruple-bogey. And when he finally putted the ball in to finish his round, he took his putter, pretended it was a gun and — sarcastically, I assume — took a couple of “shots.”
Hey, it’s better than the meltdown we saw two years ago or flipped the bird at a pond. And 18 is a tough hole!
