The reigning All-Ireland champions clash with the 2021 winners in a game that could have huge consequences for both teams in Division One.
Tyrone versus Kerry at any time of the year is always an interesting battle, but the losers of Sunday’s game will find themselves struggling to retain their Division One status.
Few expect Kerry to be in real danger of relegation at the end of the month, but Dublin were tipped to avoid the drop last season so anything is possible.
In contrast, Tyrone are the new relegation favourites after dropping to the foot of the table after their 10-point hammering to Mayo last Saturday night in Castlebar.
On the same evening, Kerry secured their second win of the campaign with a gutsy win over Armagh in Tralee and a win in Omagh would leave Kerry almost assured of Division One football next season.
Win, lose or draw, the Red Hands would need at least another victory from their final two games against Monaghan (away) and Armagh (home).
