After an outstanding season last year, Tyreek Hill has been recognized as the NFL's top wide receiver in a preseason survey conducted by The Associated Press. Hill's exceptional performance saw him finish ahead of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes in MVP voting, showcasing his elite skills on the field.

The survey, conducted by a panel of eight AP Pro Football Writers, ranked the top five players at the wide receiver position based on their current status entering the 2024 season. Hill secured the top spot with four first-place votes and four second-place selections, narrowly edging out Justin Jefferson, who also received significant recognition.

Hill, who now plays for the Miami Dolphins after leaving the Kansas City Chiefs, has continued to excel in his new team. With impressive stats of 238 catches for 3,509 yards and 20 touchdowns in just two seasons with the Dolphins, Hill's impact on the field has been undeniable.

Following Hill in the rankings is Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, who despite facing injuries last season, managed to secure the second spot. Jefferson's remarkable performance earned him a lucrative four-year, $140 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history.

CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys claimed the third spot in the survey after a stellar All-Pro season where he led the league with 135 catches, 1,749 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns. Lamb's future looks promising as he anticipates a significant contract extension in the near future.

Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals and Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions rounded out the top five rankings, showcasing their exceptional skills and contributions to their respective teams. Chase, coming off a career-best season, is poised for a substantial contract extension, while St. Brown secured a lucrative $120 million, four-year deal with the Lions after an impressive performance last year.

The survey results highlight the exceptional talent and impact of these top wide receivers in the NFL, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive 2024 season.
