Tyreek Hill sends brutal warning to Kansas City Chiefs - "I hate to say it"

Former Kansas City Chiefs superstar Tyreek Hill has promised to be the team's 'worst enemy' when his Miami Dolphins face them this upcoming season.

The Dolphins will travel to Kansas City 's Arrowhead Stadium at some point in the regular season with the two teams set to meet for the first time since the blockbuster trade. Hill was surprisingly traded from the Chiefs with the superstar down to his last year of his contract, and wanting to be given a huge extension - which many felt he rightly deserved.

But with the Chiefs already giving quarterback Patrick Mahomes a huge deal, as well as having stars such as Chris Jones, Travis Kelce, Frank Clark and Orlando Brown on big money, there was no room for a new contract for Hill.

Hill was eventually traded to the Miami Dolphins, for a first, second, two fourths and sixth round draft picks - with the team quickly extending him to a four-year, $160million (£128m) contract making him the highest paid wide receiver in NFL history.

It would be a deal that would go on to work out well for both teams. The Dolphins acquired arguably their best receiver in franchise history - after already breaking records in his first season with the team - while the Chiefs used the draft picks to bolster their defence and winning the Super Bowl.

And while Hill was happy to see the Chiefs win it all this past season, he has given their fans a promise heading into the 2023 game.

Speaking to his former teammates Gehrig Dieter and Anthony Sherman on FanNation, he said: "Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gonna do?

"I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y'all. I hate to do it! But guess what? I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day. I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day."

The two teams are expected to be two of the main contenders this season, with the Dolphins making significant upgrades to their roster after trading for Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Speaking on watching the Chiefs 2022 Super Bowl win, he added: "Even though I wasn't a part of it, I still feel like I'm a part of it.

"Watching Mahomes and Kelce win. Watching Andy Reid get another Super Bowl ring adding to his amazing head coaching career... it felt good to watch the boys win."
