The NFL offseason is quickly turning into the NBA, and it’s getting to the point where nobody can keep up.
In a span of two hours, Tyreek Hill went from the Kansas City Chiefs’ All-Pro receiver to seeking a trade to becoming a member of the Miami Dolphins. And just like that, one of the game’s most dynamic players was leaving an MVP-caliber quarterback in Patrick Mahomes for Tua Tagovailoa.
Mahomes, of course, is one of the best deep-ball passers in the game with undeniable arm strength. Tagovailoa, on the other hand, ranked 30th in the league last season with 2.3 pass attempts per game of 20-plus air yards.
20+ air yard pass attempts per game among QBs last season (minimum 12 games)…

While Hill doesn’t necessarily need a deep pass to score, NFL fans couldn’t help but joke about the stark contrast between Mahomes and Tua. It’s going to be a very different experience in Miami, that’s for sure.
