The news that Tyreek Hill wants out of Miami has been widespread this week. After the Dolphins’ season ended on Sunday evening, the 30-year-old wide receiver made headlines with his blunt comments about the situation, which were punctuated with a statement of “I’m out”. He’s been a focus of the news cycle ever since, and there is plenty of speculation about what the Dolphins might do about the issue on their hands.
The way Hill’s contract is set up, it would be an unwise move to outright release or waive him. There would be too much dead cap money to make it be worth their while. But a trade is a feasible move as it would bring on less dead cash, and Miami’s front office might already be working the phones.
Tyreek Hill Next Team Odds: Could Cowboys Make A Trade?
What teams would be interested in trading for the disgruntled pass catcher? Here are the teams with the shortest odds (according to BetOnline) of landing Tyreek Hill before the start of the 2025 NFL season:
Dallas Cowboys +300
The Cowboys fancy themselves to be one of the proudest franchises in the NFL, but haven’t won a Super Bowl since 1995. They’ve won just two playoff games over the past 10 years, and should be looking to make a splash this coming off-season to help turn their fortunes around.
Could trading for Tyreek Hill be in the cards? Aside from CeeDee Lamb, the wide receiver room in Dallas is somewhat unimpressive, and the team could be looking to upgrade over guys like Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin. Pairing Hill with Lamb would instantly give the Cowboys one of the most dangerous duos in the NFL, even if it is only for a year or two.
But would Dallas want to take on Hill’s salary? They have contracts on their books that are set to balloon in 2025, including those of Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott, and have other holes to fill along their roster. Regardless, they are listed as the favorite to bring Hill in, currently listed at +300.

Las Vegas Raiders +400
A team that always has an affinity for speedy wideouts, the Las Vegas Raiders could be in the mix for Hill. The quarterback situation is in flux, which will be a major point of emphasis during the off-season, and could be a snag in their efforts to acquire a top-flight wide receiver. But Vegas could get aggressive in the draft process to attempt to bring in their pass thrower of the future, and pairing a prospect with an elite receiver could be a path they choose to take.
They are the AFC team that has the best chance of landing Tyreek Hill, with a current designation of +400.
Atlanta Falcons +500
The Falcons have some big decisions to make this off-season, mostly in the way of quarterback Kirk Cousins. But if the team is able to free up some money as they ride with Michael Penix Jr. as their signal caller, then they could be looking to spend to upgrade their wide receiver position.
Their highest paid wideout is currently Darnell Mooney, but a post-June 1st trade or release of the 27-year-old could save them some cash. They would then only have 3 wide receivers under contract for 2025, and would be in the market to pair perhaps an elite prospect with Drake London. Their likelihood of trading for Hill sits at +500.

Buffalo Bills +600
Since the Dolphins would likely have to trade Hill to get rid of him, this one seems to be out of the realm of possibility, despite the relatively low designation. The Bills have been the thorn in the side for Miami for the past five years in the AFC East, so having a hand in giving Josh Allen and company any kind of boost would be something they wouldn’t have much interest in.
But imagine a team that is already as dominant as Buffalo having the option to throw to one of the most dangerous open-field players that the game has ever seen. It would be suicide for the Dolphins, essentially guaranteeing at least another year of dominance in the division for the Bills. Yet, for some reason, the odds of Hill ending up in Buffalo are listed at +600.
