With the NFL Honors just two weeks away, the Associated Press has begun announcing their finalists for the league awards.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is one of four finalists for the league’s 2022 AP Offensive Player of the Year. He joins Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
In 2022, Hill’s first season in aqua and orange, the 28-year-old recorded franchise records in both receptions (119) receptions and yards (1,710) while finding the end zone seven touchdowns in the receiving game.
His performance was strong enough to earn him his seventh straight Pro Bowl appearance and his fourth first-team All-Pro nomination.
The winner of the award will be announced during the NFL Honors on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
