Tyreek Hill Is Already Talking Trash Ahead of 2023 Return to Arrowhead

Memo to the NFL schedule makers: Please do not make NFL fans wait too long into the season for the Dolphins’ scheduled visit to the Arrowhead Stadium in 2023.

Miami star Tyreek Hill is already anticipating the showdown—already talking trash about his former team, the Chiefs, in a clip that circulated online. The wideout will face Kansas City for the first time since being traded ahead of the 2022 season, and he certainly believes he will dominate. In a Tuesday appearance with 810 Sports, the fiery Hill jumped on with hosts Anthony Sherman and Gehrig Dieter.

“Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we’re gonna do? Guess what we're gonna do? I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all, I hate to do it. But guess what? I’m gonna be y’all’s worst enemy that day,” Hill said. “You better change the the signals, I know every signal you all got.”

It also became apparent that Hill will likely be emotional on the field that day due to the immense respect and love he has for his former head coach and teammates.

"I was watching the Super Bowl, man, and I was real happy for my guys, even though I am not a part of it. I still feel like I am part of it. Watching Pat [Mahomes] and [Travis] Kelce win and watching Coach Reid get another Super Bowl ring to add to his amazing head coaching career," added Hill. "It felt good to watch the boys win. I still love y'all. I still got major love for y'all baby."

Hill was dominant in his first season with Miami, finishing second in the NFL in receptions (119) and receiving yards (1,710) while scoring eight total touchdowns.

Hill facing his former teammates, who won Super Bowl LVII without him, is arguably one of the most anticipated regular-season games of 2023. Fans will have to hope  the NFL won’t make them wait too far into the season to see these two high-powered offenses square off.
