Despite what has been a slow 2023 season for three-time Pro Bowl receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns had provide some extra motivation.
After all, every player wants to show out against their former team. Just how Beckham went about it may cost him some money come Monday.
During the third quarter, Beckham broke free for a vintage catch and touchdown to extend the Ravens’ lead.

As he cruised into the end zone, Beckham threw up Tyreek Hill’s signature peace sign celebration. Hill — who is enjoying his bye week — noticed the play and had some bad news for his fellow receiver.
Yeah they fining people for that buddy 😑 https://t.co/N9KzQWPKok

Hill wanted to let Odell know that a fine will be coming. He’s not kidding either. Hill was fined nearly $11,000 for the gesture in Week 5.
So while it wasn’t considered a penalty on the field, the league still views the celebration as showing up an opponent (which is dumb). Beckham earned the right to celebrate there.
