Tyreek Hill gives a warning for opposing defenders in 2022

When the Miami Dolphins acquired wide receiver Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs in a trade that sent five picks, including first and second round selections this year, general manager Chris Grier and head coach Mike McDaniel knew that they were getting a player who was going to completely change their offense.

Hill has been one of the most explosive players in the league since he was drafted in 2016 out of West Alabama. His talent has earned him six Pro Bowl appearances and three First-Team All-Pro selections.

Now, with Hill and Jaylen Waddle at the top two receiver spots, defenders are going to have a tough time preparing for the Dolphins. During his introductory press conference, Hill was asked what it was going to be like for opponents’ hamstrings this season, and he responded in a way that only he could.

“Oh, especially in the heat,” Hill asked. “It’s gonna be crazy, man. Look, they better warm-up, put ice on ’em do whatever they gotta do, man. Cause it’s gonna be a long season.”

Miami clearly put forth a concerted effort to get faster on offense, and that will make it that much tougher for these defenders to keep up with them.
