Tyreek Hill, Dolphins agree to restructured 3-year contract

The Miami Dolphins agreed to a restructured contract with star wide receiver Tyreek Hill that will pay him $90 million over the next three years with $65 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

No new years were added on to the contract, per the report, so Hill is still due to become a free agent after the 2026 season. He isn’t planning on leaving any time soon (or ever), though.

Hill, 30, received an extension from the Dolphins in 2022 after he was acquired in a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs. The remainder of the deal was cumbersome for the Dolphins with more than $120 million in salary cap hits over the next three years.

The contract also fell off market value for Hill with the majority of the guaranteed money already in the rear view mirror and several wide receivers in the NFL signing new deals during the 2024 offseason.

On Friday, Hill was revealed as the No. 1 player on the annual NFL Top 100 list, as voted on by his peers.

In 2023, Hill became the first player in NFL history to eclipse 1,700 receiving yards in two seasons during their career. Both of his 1,700-yard seasons came in his time with the Dolphins.
