Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams has expressed his frustration and being unable to play a part in the Whites' survival bid. The American international, who has impressed in patches this season, missed the final 12 games of the season after undergoing hamstring surgery back in March.
The 24-year-old who signed from RB Leipzig in the summer had been a mainstay in the starting XI under both Jesse Marsch and Javi Gracia prior to his injury. He made 24 appearances in the top flight but drew a blank in terms of goal contributions last season.
Manchester United are among a number of teams to have been linked with the combative midfielder after an impressive World Cup alongside current Juventus loanee Weston McKennie. The pair were unable to transfer their Qatar form over to the Premier League, with Leeds sliding into the second tier of English football.

Adams has since apologised to supporters, tweeting: "It's not just been a tough few days reflecting on what happened, it's been a tough couple of months having to watch from the sidelines and be unable to help my team, teammates and you guys, the fans, to keep us in the Premier League.
"All we can say as players is we're sorry. You guys have been incredible all season and deserved more."
