A sex offender was jailed after he flashed two young girls in a park.
Jamie Lee Scott, of Arpley Street, Warrington, was placed on the Sex Offender Register following an indecent exposure conviction in 2008. Chester Crown Court heard last week that the 35-year-old had breached the conditions of his sexual harm order by performing a sex act in the direction of two schoolgirls in Sankey Valley Park, Warrington on May 19 of this year.
Police claim that the girls phoned their parents and tried to take a picture of Scott, who ran away in the direction of Ripley Street.

Officers identified Scott following enquiries, and he was arrested on May 25. The 35-year-old was charged with indecent exposure, breaching his sexual harm prevention order and possession of a class B drug (cannabis). Scott appeared at Chester Crown Court on November 18, where he was jailed for 27 months.
Police Constable Josh Meakin said: “As a registered sex offender, Scott was required to adhere to a number of conditions to deter him from reoffending.
“Despite this, two young girls have since been left extremely disturbed and distressed after what Scott made them endure.
“Violence against women and girls is a priority for the force and we are committed to doing all we can to ensure that everyone feels safe on the streets of Cheshire. I would like to thank the courts who have helped keep Scott off our streets with the sentence that has been handed down to him.
“I hope this result reassures members of the public that we do take action when registered sex offenders breach this order.
“I also hope this acts as a deterrent to those with Sexual Harm Prevention Orders and highlights the consequences of not adhering to the conditions.”
