In a shocking turn of events, two women have been charged with the murder and dismemberment of a man in Washington, D.C. The victim, 53-year-old Fasil Teklemariam, was found dead inside his apartment on April 5. The suspects, Tiffany Taylor Gray, 22, and Audrey Denise Miller, 19, are facing charges of first-degree murder while armed in connection with the killing.

According to police reports, Teklemariam was discovered with stab wounds, blunt-force fractures to his head, and his right thumb missing. Investigators found evidence of cleaning agents being used to conceal certain aspects of the crime scene. The exact circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed.

One disturbing detail that emerged from the investigation is that Teklemariam's severed thumb was allegedly used to access his finance app on his stolen cellphone. This allowed the perpetrators to make purchases for liquor and drugs. The thumb and cellphone have yet to be recovered.

Surveillance footage captured all four suspects, including two men, entering Teklemariam's apartment using a key fob and removing items in the days leading up to his death. It is believed that the victim was killed on April 1.

Gray, who is also facing charges of armed robbery and armed kidnapping in a separate case in Maryland, is currently awaiting extradition to Washington, D.C. Miller, on the other hand, is in custody awaiting a preliminary hearing.

The investigation took a significant turn when a witness revealed that Gray and Teklemariam were acquainted, with Gray referring to him as her 'sugar daddy.' The witness also claimed to have seen Gray using the victim's severed thumb to steal money from his account.

Authorities were able to track down the suspects after a man reported being robbed at gunpoint at Gray's apartment. The suspects had used a dating app to lure the victim to the location before robbing him. The investigation also revealed that Gray had a history of meeting men online and stealing from them.

The case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the gruesome nature of the crime and the lengths to which the suspects went to cover their tracks. As the legal proceedings unfold, more details are expected to come to light regarding this tragic incident.
