A routine police check for a broken headlight led to two women arrested.
Merseyside Police officers stopped a car on Sherdley Road, St Helens at around 7pm on Saturday December 10, due to a faulty headlight. A quantity of suspected cocaine was then found in the vehicle.
A roadside drugs wipe on the driver came back positive, and the pair were subsequently arrested.

A 23-year-old woman from Prescot was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled Class A drug and being in possession of a Class B controlled drug. A 22-year-old woman from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of being in possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and drug driving.
Both women have since been released pending investigation.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We have arrested two people on suspicion of drugs offences after a car was stopped in St Helens on Saturday December 10.
"At around 7pm we stopped a vehicle on Sherdley Road after officers spotted a faulty headlight. A 23-year-old woman from Prescot was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled Class A drug and being in possession of a Class B controlled drug.
"A 22-year-old woman from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of being in possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and drug driving. Both have been released under investigation."
