Two men have been arrested following a double stabbing near a south London park in broad daylight.
Emergency services discovered two males, aged 17 and 18, near Kennington Park on Cooks Road at approximately 4:30pm on Friday.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that both young men were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident.Officials have not disclosed further details beyond confirming that both individuals are currently in a stable condition.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police offered: “Officers attended along with ambulance colleagues.
“Two males - aged 17 and 18 years - were taken to hospital suffering stab injuries.
“Neither is in a life-threatening condition. Both have been arrested.
“Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances, led by CID officers responsible for policing Southwark and Lambeth.”
