FIVE people have been taken to hospital, including two teenagers, following a crash involving two cars in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to a report of a car crash on the A92, north of Johnshaven, at around 8am on Monday.
Police have warned drivers to find an alternative route as the road remains closed in both directions.
The police have said a female driver of one of the cars and two teenage backseat passengers were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The front-seat female passenger of the same car was taken to Ninewells Hospital, in Dundee, along with the female driver of the other car.
