Police have charged two teenagers after arresting them in relation to the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Hashim Mohamed during a brawl in St Kilda earlier this month.
Officers were called to St Kilda beach just after 7:30pm on December 4 following reports a group of people were fighting.
Mr Mohamed, from Tarneit in Melbourne's outer west, was found with stab wounds on the beach near Pier Road.
He was taken to hospital, where he died.
Police raided five properties in Melbourne's north-western suburbs early this morning and made two arrests.
A 16-year-old Kuranjang boy and a 17-year-old Taylors Hill boy arrested in the raids have been charged with affray and violent disorder.
The Taylors Hill boy has also been charged with aggravated burglary in relation to a separate matter.
Detectives say the exact circumstances and motivation behind the brawl are still under investigation, and they expect to make more arrests.
