Two people have been rushed to hospital after a car overturned in a horror crash near a Scots quarry.
Emergency services raced to the B9157 at Orrock Quarry, near Kirkcaldy in Fife, after the alarm was raised at around 3.45pm on Friday. It's understood a car was involved in a collision with a lorry before it overturned.
Ambulance crews attended and two people were taken to hospital for treatment. Their condition is currently unknown.
A picture taken from the scene showed police and fire crews at the scene of the accident. Officers quickly closed the road following the crash and it reopened shortly after 6pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.45pm on Friday, 4 November, 2022, police were called to the B9157 near Orrock Quarry, following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
"Two people were taken to hospital for treatment and the road reopened around 6.05pm."
