Ben Smith, from Merseyside Police's cannabis dismantling team said: " “The closure of another cannabis farm means our community is now a safer place. The mixing of water and electricity in such farms poses a very serious risk of flood and fire to neighbouring properties, and those offenders who trade in illegal drugs often bring violence and intimidation to the areas they operate in.
“Information from the public about where these farms are is key to our efforts to shut them down and bring offenders to justice. If you have any information on suspected drugs being grown or supplied where you are, let us know and we will keep taking this positive action.”
Anyone with information on suspected drug production or criminal activity in their community can contact @MerPolCC, call 101 or come forward anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Always call 999 if a crime is in progress.
