Special prosecutor Kari Morrissey appeared to focus on the news consumption habits of each juror as she prepares to prosecute the famous actor for involuntary manslaughter.

Juror number 27 disclosed that they were one of two individuals who had not come across any news regarding the on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Similarly, juror number 41 also stated that they had not been exposed to any press coverage leading up to the shooting trial.

The incident involving Alec Baldwin made headlines when a gun discharged on the set of the Western film, resulting in the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin was reported to have been holding the gun when the fatal shot was fired.

The media extensively covered the shooting incident as well as the subsequent trial of 'Rust' armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed. Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter on March 6 and was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
