Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a premises on Francis Street this morning.
Dublin Fire Brigade was called to the scene of a blaze at the premises on Francis Street at 4.30am. A well developed fire had taken hold on the ground floor, and firefighters used breathing apparatus to successfully extinguish the fire.
It is understood that two people in an adjoining property were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene. The incident concluded at 8:30am.

Taking to social media, Dublin Fire Brigade wrote: "Five units responded to a premises fire on Francis Street at 4.30am. A well developed fire had taken hold on the ground floor. Crews in breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and fans were used to ventilate the building.
"Two people were treated for smoke inhalation in an adjoining property. The incident concluded at 8.30am."
A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "Gardai attended the scene of a fire on Francis Street in Dublin 8 this morning, Sunday 10 th July 2022 shortly after 4.30am.
"The fire was extinguished by Dublin Fire Services. No persons were present in the property.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
